Remembering a Life of Love

A Beautiful Place to Remember Them

Their life was more than the day you had to say goodbye.

A Faith Harbor memorial gives you a peaceful place to remember the ordinary moments, the little habits, the stories, the comfort, and the love that made your companion part of your life.

You don’t have to tell everything at once.

You don’t have to find perfect words.

You can simply begin with what you remember.

Their death was one day in their story.

Their memorial should tell the rest.

Remember the Life You Shared

A memorial doesn’t have to begin with how they died. It can begin with how they lived.

  • The little things

The way they greeted you. Where they slept. The sound of their footsteps. The look they gave you when they wanted something. The ordinary routines that became part of home.

  • The stories

The funny moments. The adventures. The habits only you understood. The things they somehow always knew.

  • What they gave you

Companionship. Comfort. Loyalty. Laughter. Presence. A reason to keep going on days when life was hard.

  • What you want them to know

The words you would say if you had one more quiet moment together.

You Don’t Have to Write an Obituary

Faith Harbor gently walks you through memories one at a time.

A few words are enough.

Skip anything you don’t want to answer.

Save your memorial and come back when you’re ready.

There is no right way to tell their story.

  1. 1. Remember

We’ll ask gentle questions about their personality, your life together, the moments you remember, and what they meant to you.

  2. 2. Make it yours

Add photographs, include faith or Scripture if it is meaningful to you, and leave out anything you would rather keep private.

  3. 3. Share — or don’t

When you’re ready, you choose whether the memorial is Public, Unlisted, or Private.

A Meaningful Memorial Shouldn’t Depend on What You Can Afford

Creating a Faith Harbor memorial is free.

You can tell their story, add photographs, return later to keep writing, and create a beautiful memorial without paying for access to the memories that matter most.

No donation is required.

No purchase is required.

Meet Slick

Photograph of Slick

Slick lived through loss and kept loving.

In the years after my wife Nancy died, he became my constant companion — my rock. Only after saying goodbye did I fully understand how much this little dog had taught me about grief, presence, trust, and continuing to love after loss.

His memorial became the first real memorial created through Faith Harbor Pet Loss Support.

It is here not because his story is more important than anyone else’s, but because every beloved companion deserves to be remembered as more than the day they died.

Faith Is Welcome. It Is Never Required.

Faith Harbor Pet Loss Support is a Christian ministry, and for many people faith becomes an important part of grieving.

If you want to include faith, hope, or Scripture in your memorial, you can.

If you don’t, your memorial is still complete.

We will never force words of faith into someone else’s story.

Your Story. Your Choice.

You decide what to share.

You can leave questions unanswered, keep personal notes private, preview your memorial before publishing, and return later to make changes.

When you publish, you choose:

  • Public

Anyone can view this memorial. It may also appear in Faith Harbor memorial listings or other public discovery features if we offer them in the future.

  • Unlisted

Anyone who has the memorial’s private web address can view it, but it won’t appear in Faith Harbor listings or in search engines.

  • Private

Only you can view and edit this memorial. It won’t have a public web address.

When You’re Ready, Begin With One Memory

You don’t have to tell the whole story today.

Begin with their name.

Remember one thing that made you smile.

Tell us what made them yours.

We’ll help you take it from there.
